My Apps

You can manage everything about your apps in the My Apps menu.

App Submission

You can start by submitting your apps to Catappult, one at a time, by clicking here or by following the below steps:

  1. Click on My Apps in the main menu.
  2. Click on the "Add App" button.
  3. Provide either the Google Play link of your app or the package name.
  4. Fill in the requested information.

If you wish to update your app:

  1. Click on My Apps in the main menu.
  2. Click on "Details" of the app you wish to update.
  3. Press the "Update" button, next to the app's version, and submit your updated APK.


Select the Drafts filter in the My Apps menu to check all the uploaded packages that are still missing submission.


After concluding the submission of your apps, you must certify your app to prove its ownership. While waiting on the certification, your apps will show as Pending. You can check all your pending apps by click on the "Pending" filter in the My Apps menu.

Distributed / Undistributed

Once your apps are approved and ready to be distributed, you will find them as "Distributed" or "Undistributed".

If your app is being distributed, the app status will appear as such. If you wish to stop the distribution of an approved app:

  1. Enter the App View menu, by clicking on Details
  2. Scroll down to the Versions section and click on Details to go to the Version View of the app version you wish to undistribute.
  3. Deselect "Distributed".

App View

You can access the App view menu by going to the My App menu and clicking on Details for the app you wish to see.
Here, you can quickly access other menus such as your app's Insights or Statistics menus.

You are also able to see other information regarding distribution, like the app's versions and their status, and also see and manage the distribution by country.

Version View

You can access the Version View via the App View menu. When in App View, scroll down to the "Versions" section and click on "Details" for the app version you wish to check.

Here, you will be able to see and update your app's information.

App restrictions

The applications submitted in Catappult are subject to strict approval processes. There are several reasons your application may not be accepted:

  • Unavailable on Google Play Store;
  • Invasive adware;
  • Mandatory servers offline;
  • Potential phishing;
  • Updates required;
  • Crashes or Freezes;
  • External APK downloads;
  • Subscription-based apps;
  • Web views;
  • Free coin "generators";
  • Non-original apps;
  • Target SDK < 16;
  • Low quality like guides, cheats, etc.;
  • Contains or promotes sexual content: pornography or any content or services intended to be sexually gratifying. Content that contains nudity may be allowed if the primary purpose is educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic, and is not unjustified.

Apps will be voided if they infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
E.g.: trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret, and other proprietary rights.

The apps shall comply with Catappult’s quality insurance and distribution criteria, which run automatically since the apps are submitted for validation.

Apps to which the Q&A team may not be comfortable to distribute given its nature will not be published. Reasons might be related to:

  • Illegal activities, such as drug traffic;
  • Terrorism/violence/bullying/hate inducement.


Can I remove or delete my apps?
The removal of apps from Catappult is still not available. Nonetheless, you can move an app to "undistributed". Please note that, if your app is not certified yet, it will not be visible to the public.
If your app is still on drafts, you can delete the draft by going to the My Apps menu, filtering for drafts, and clicking on the trash bin.

How will the revenue of my app's IAP be paid?
The revenue from the IAP will be paid by Catappult in USD, corresponding to the equivalent amount of the purchase, converted to that moment’s exchange rate.

Why can't I edit my app's metadata?
If your app is on Google Play, the metadata will be fetched from the version you currently have on Google Play. You will have to edit the information directly on Google Play and, after that, we will automatically get the information.
If your app is not on Google Play, you can edit your app's metadata by going to the Version View page.

My app's presentation images are not in the correct order, how can I change this?
At the moment, the presentation images of your app do not appear in a specific order and it is not possible to edit its order.

How can I upload any missing splits?
If there are missing splits, there will be a notification on your console. When going to Version View, on the bottom of the page, there will be a message informing you to upload any missing splits. You can click there on "Upload" and submit your missing splits.

How can I see in which stores my app is being distributed?
You can check where your app is being distributed and what version by going to your app's Insights in the Insights menu.
