Every time an in-app transaction occurs in your app, a revenue share model is applied based on the source of the app installation. The revenue split depends primarily on where the user originally downloaded your app.

Android

Downloaded via a Distribution Channel

If the Android app was installed through one of our distribution channels network (e.g., Partner App Stores, OEMs, or Carriers), the revenue from in-app purchases is split as follows:

  • 75% to the Developer
  • 25% shared between the Distribution Channel and Aptoide

In this model, Aptoide reinvests its share of revenue back to the user as credits, stored in their Aptoide Wallet. The system is gamified, so the more users spend, the more they can potentially receive back, which increases engagement and monetization. For midcore games, the effective revenue share typically reaches around 85–90%, averaging 87% for top-performing games.

Note: This is also the default split applied when it’s not possible to determine where the user downloaded the app from.

Downloaded via Direct-to-Consumer (D2C)

If the Android app was installed via our direct-to-consumer channels, such as the D2C landing page or direct download button, the revenue is split as follows:

  • 90% to the Developer
  • 10% to Aptoide

iOS

For iOS apps we only have one model for the revenue split, which is as follows:

  • 80% to the Developer
  • 20% to Aptoide

These models ensures a fair and transparent distribution of earnings while rewarding both developers and our distribution ecosystem.
