The process of submitting apps on Catappult is quite simple.
You can start by submitting, one at a time, by following the below steps:

  1. Click on the Add App button on the top menu bar.
  2. Provide either the Google Play link of your app or the package name.
  3. Fill in the requested information and click on "Submit".

You can also add an app by clicking here.

Depending on where your app is available and if it has in-app purchases (IAPs), you will have different sections to fill in when submitting your app on Catappult.

Available on Google Play

With in-app purchases

When your app is on Google Play and has IAPs, we fetch all its metadata from Google Play. We only need you to upload the app files on the submission form taking into account the PSV Requirements and that our billing One-Step Payment or Native Android Billing SDK is implemented.

The types of files we support are the following:

Uploading your APK

Please note that you will need to get the APK file from your Google Console and implement one of our billing solutions there before uploading your app. To know how to get your APK from Google Play with their signature, click here.

We only accept .apk and .obb files

At the moment, we only accept .apk and .obb files. In case your files are zipped, please unzipped them before uploading (we do not accept .apks files).

To set ownership of your app, we send an email to the support address of your app on Google Play. On the email that is sent to you, click on "confirm" and you have set ownership of your app. For more information about proving ownership of your app, click here.

Without in-app purchases

If your app is available on Google Play but does not have IAPs, we will fetch all the data and app files automatically. All we need is the Google Play link or package name and we are able to get this information.

The submission process is the following:

  • paste your app's Google Play link after clicking on Add App;
  • confirm the app fetched is the correct one;
  • check the email you receive in your email box to set ownership (for more information, click here).

If your app is not available on Google Play, you will have to fill out your app's metadata and upload your app files manually. After clicking on Add App, select "No" when answering if your app is available on Google Play, and then write your app's package name.
After clicking next, you will have to submit your app's files and fill out all the metadata information.

Do I need to fill out all the information before submitting my app?
Yes. All fields are mandatory. If you do not fill out all fields, the submit button won't activate and you won't be able to submit your app.

My app has IAPs but they are not activated, can I submit my app without integrating your billing method?
No. Even if they are temporarily unavailable or you wish to enable them later, you will still need to integrate our billing method. Your app's purchases need to either be fully functional and with OSP or removed completely.
